The Memphis Grizzlies lost 134-127 against the Golden State Warriors last night. As a result, Memphis dropped to sixth in the Western Conference with a 44-32 record.

Ja Morant top-scored for Memphis with 36 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals, and five three-pointers on 14-for-22 shooting from the field. Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, Santi Aldama, Zach Edey, and Scotty Pippen Jr. added 22, 19, 18, 10, and 10 points.

Memphis will aim to end their slide upon visiting the Miami Heat at the Kaseya Center this Thursday evening.
Memphis Grizzlies News: Jaren Jackson Jr.’s 22-point outing draws “disappointing” take from Draymond Green
Draymond Green and Jaren Jackson Jr. have formed a friendship because of their Michigan State ties, which is why the Golden State Warriors forward had mixed emotions after his team won last night.

The four-time NBA champion called Jackson’s 22-point performance “disappointing” because the 25-year-old forward struggled with foul trouble all night and shot poorly from the field (7-for-20 shooting).
“I’m disappointed in Jaren,” Green said via Jonah Dylan of Memphis Commercial Appeal. “You know I’ve got a lot of love for him, that’s my Spartan dog. He’s too good to still be getting in foul trouble. A couple of them fouls he picked up, he can stay away from them. It’s time for him to take that next step in that department.”
