Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant spent the better part of last season watching his team from the sidelines. The 24-year-old missed the start of the campaign due to a league-mandated suspension that was brought about by his (second) social media gun scandal.
After just nine games played, Morant’s season was cut short by a shoulder injury that required the two-time All-Star to go under the knife.
At this point, you can be sure that Ja is just raring to go ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Memphis Grizzlies News: Ja Morant’s Bold Warning

Morant recently returned to his alma mater of Murray State ahead of his induction into the Hall of Fame. When asked by a reporter to discuss his health, the Grizzlies guard admitted that he’s still far from where he wants to be. In the same breath, however, the former Rookie of the Year issued a bold warning for the rest of the NBA.
“I’m really fully [ready] to go, it’s just building endurance now,” he said. “So if I had to pick a number, I’d say probably 75%, and I feel like that’s still scary for whoever’s in front of me. “

As a follow-up question, Morant was asked if he was already close to being 100% healthy. In response, Ja dropped another foreboding response.
“No not yet,” he said. “But come October I will be.”

Expect big things from the Grizzlies superstar in 2024-25. It’s going to be revenge season for this young man in what’s going to be a critical year for him.
