Along with Team USA’s upcoming gold medal bid in the 2024 Olympics, everyone will be looking forward to Simone Biles’ performance on the global stage. This prompted Miami Heat All-Star big man Bam Adebayo to reveal his one wish from the iconic gymnast.
The legendary American gymnast, is set to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a chance to cement her legacy. The 27-year-old is seeking to add to her impressive medal haul, which includes seven Olympic medals from the 2016 Rio Games.

Biles, who took a break after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, is returning for her third Games. She’ll be joined by a talented U.S. women’s gymnastics team, including defending Olympic all-around champion Sunisa Lee. The 21-year-old Lee had a rocky couple years after her 2021 triumph but has bounced back and secured a spot on the 2024 squad.
While the U.S. women’s team looks strong, the defending Olympic champions, the Russian team, will be absent from Paris. Russia is banned from the 2024 Olympics due to doping violations. This opens the door for Biles and the Americans to potentially dominate the gymnastics events.
Biles is aiming to become the first woman in over 50 years to win consecutive Olympic all-around titles. She’ll also have a chance to add to her remarkable Olympic medal collection as she seeks to cement her status as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
Miami Heat Star Bam Adebayo Reveals One Wish He Wants From Simone Biles in 2024 Paris Olympics

Along with Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James saying Biles is dope and Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton planning to watch her performance, Adebayo also expressed his thoughts about the gymnast. In an article posted by ESPN, the Miami Heat star hopes for one thing from Biles in Paris.
“To be that good — well, excuse me, to be that great — and she still keeps breaking barriers,” Adebayo said. “To be able to see that just one time and hopefully get a picture with her, it’d mean a lot because she’s done a lot for not only the faces of us but for her sport as a whole.”
Last season, Adebayo played 71 games and averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest. Although the Heat were eliminated in the first round by the Boston Celtics, the All-Star big man still shone brightly in the absence of Jimmy Butler due to an injury.

For sure, Adebayo will do his best to make his Olympic stint as good as possible. From his perspective, though, it can only get better if the All-Star center can have that one picture with Biles in the coming weeks.
