The Miami Heat are no longer the Eastern Conference contenders they used to be, especially after they traded Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors last month.

With the team seemingly going nowhere, as they’re ninth in the Eastern Conference with a 29-35 record, former NBA All-Star Jeff Teague urges the Miami Heat to blow it up, starting from the front office.
“It’s time for the Heat to blow it up,” Teague said on the Club 520 Podcast. “It’s time for the whole organization to just start over. Let Pat Riley just go ahead and retire man somewhere. You’re 88, let’s just start it over.”

“Let Erik Spoelstra run the team from the top to the bottom. Be the coach and the general manager. Just let him do it, just start over bro,” he added.
Miami Heat aim to end their four-game losing streak
The Miami Heat have lost their last four games, as they’ve had trouble closing out games where they were leading for the most part. During their slide, Miami lost by an average of 3.75 points per game.

They are coming off a 105-102 defeat against the Charlotte Hornets last Monday after wasting a 17-point lead. Bam Adebayo was the bright spot for the Miami Heat, recording 23 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists on 8-for-16 shooting from the field.
Erik Spoelstra and co. will face the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics in their next two home games.
