Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro offered a blunt response when asked about facing his former teammate Jimmy Butler for the first time since the team traded him to the Golden State Warriors last month.

“It’ll be fun. It’s another game for us honestly. We just came off a 10-game losing streak, we’ve got bigger things to worry about. Obviously, Jimmy’s coming back here, but it’s a regular game,” Herro said in a recent press conference via ClutchPoints.
The Miami Heat aim to notch their second straight win after they ended their 10-game slide with a 122-105 victory over the Charlotte Hornets last Sunday.

Andrew Wiggins dropped 42 points, three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and six three-pointers on 16-for-21 shooting from the field. Tyler Herro, Davion Mitchell, Kel’el Ware, and Bam Adebayo added 29, 12, 12, and 11 points.
Jimmy Butler opens up on his time Miami Heat
Jimmy Butler played six years with the Miami Heat, which featured several deep playoff runs, including trips to the NBA Finals in 2020 and 2023.

He was asked about facing his former team for the first time later, and Butler gave an unfiltered assessment during his time in South Beach.
“We were alright. We didn’t win nothing like we were supposed to. So I don’t know. We made some cool runs. We had some fun. I think that’s all we did,” Butler stated via Ira Winderman.
