Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States, is collaborating with Golden State Warriors’ legend, Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, to launch a range of beverages. Obama, one of the co-founders of PLEZi Nutrition, announced the creation and launch of PLEZi Hydration, which is particularly aimed at sportspersons.
Obama, who has always fought for better health for everyone and has undertaken many programs to fight childhood obesity, has worked closely with her team to ensure that PLEZi Hydration beverages are free from any added sugars, and are nutrient-rich.
“I’m excited to team up with PLEZi to launch PLEZi Hydration, a game-changing hydration beverage that I believe can make a real difference for anyone looking to perform at their best. We’ve created something with smart ingredients and unbeatable flavor, so people can fuel their bodies the right way. No nonsense, no shortcuts—because the next generation deserves better.” Stephen Curry said in a recent statement about PLEZi Hydration.

Curry also posted a picture of himself holding a bottle of the drink while wearing a bright-red basketball uniform and holding up a white basketball. Michelle Obama reacted to Curry’s post with a ‘hand-clapping’ emoji and heart emoji.
Michelle Obama And Steph Curry’s New Drink Has Half The Sugar
Michelle Obama, right from the start, has been adamant about reducing the sugar intake of the American population, especially the younger generation. As a result, all the items in PLEZi Nutrition, including PLEZi Hydration, have much less sugar.
According to the information available about the range of beverages, PLEZi Hydration has half the sugar. Unlike many other sports drinks, this beverage lacks added sugars and artificial sweeteners. Plus, those looking out for their heart health will be happy to know that this drink comes with less sodium and has seven times the potassium levels that are usually found in other sports drinks.
The drink comes in various flavors, including Lemon Lime, Tropical Punch, and Orange Mango Twist. PLEZi is also planning to soon release a carbonated beverage that is made with real fruit juice, rather than just fruit juice concentrate, artificial flavors, and added sugar.
With their collaboration with Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry, PLEZi Hydration hopes to hit the right note with all sports fans and basketball lovers. Both the Currys often advocate for healthy and clean eating, especially with Steph Curry pinning most of his performance on his fuel, i.e., food.
