Giannis Antetokounmpo has seemingly confirmed his intention to return to the Milwaukee Bucks next amid incessant trade rumors, which have grown louder after yet another first-round exit at the hands of the Indiana Pacers.

“The Finals are different, I hope to be back soon with the Bucks,” Antetokounmpo said in a recent interview with Coast to Coast Brasil.
The Greek Freak has spent more than a decade with Milwaukee and led them to their second title in franchise history in 2021. But since then, they haven’t had much playoff success, leading to questions about his future.

Antetokounmpo’s statement should be music to the ears of Milwaukee Bucks fans because it means he isn’t forcing a trade out of the team anytime soon.
Milwaukee Bucks Rumors: Insider reveals the truth on the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market
Brian Windhorst said that the Milwaukee Bucks are not fielding offers for Giannis Antetokounmpo because they don’t have plans to trade him anytime soon.

“Right now, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade discussions. He has not asked for it. The Bucks are not looking to trade him,” Windhorst said on Get Up.
Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee seem to be on the same page. The two-lime league MVP is in his prime and is coming off yet another MVP-caliber campaign in 2024-25, averaging 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.2 blocks on 60.1 percent shooting from the field across 67 regular season starts.
