Because the Milwaukee Bucks haven’t been as competitive as they wanted to be in the Eastern Conference in recent years, there has been growing speculation that Giannis Antetokounmpo might want out of the team.

However, the Greek Freak recently confirmed that this isn’t the case, an ode to his reputation as one of the rare “loyal” players in the league.
“NBA is business, if I got traded I would do my job, but I don’t think that I would ever text (and ask for a trade). I am not this kind of guy,” Antetokounmpo said on COSMOTE TV. “They would have to kick me out,” he emphasized.

The Milwaukee Bucks recently traded Khris Middleton in exchange for Kyle Kuzma before the February 6 deadline. Antetokounmpo seems alright with the move even if he has grown close with Middleton throughout the years.
When will Giannis Antetokounmpo suit up again for the Milwaukee Bucks?
The Milwaukee Bucks will resume their 2024-25 campaign with a home game against the Los Angeles Clippers, and they hope to have Giannis Antetokounmpo back in the lineup.

The two-time league MVP has missed the last six games due to a calf injury. Antetokounmpo was given the questionable tag for tomorrow’s contest.
If Antetokounmpo is ruled out, Bobby Portis should continue to start in his place. Portis has averaged 18.1 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in the 11 games the Milwaukee Bucks were without the Greek Freak.
