The NBA 2K25 player ratings appear on the internet and social media before the game’s release. However, Ronnie Singh, aka Ronnie 2K, debunked those stats.
According to “Face of NBA 2K,” the official ratings haven’t been released by the game’s developers. Ronnie 2K took to his X account, telling fans not not to believe the ratings being circulated. The promoter further clarified that only the ratings of the rookies are official so far.
“Outside of Rookies, no ratings have been released. So trust fake ratings and alleged rating sites at your own risk!” Ronnie 2K said.
Legion Hoops’ Jacob Ortiz reported that OKC Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s rating in NBA 2K25 was 97 overall.

2Kratings.com, a website dedicated to all things NBA 2K, released the player ratings for NBA 2K25. However, the website isn’t officially affiliated with the NBA 2K, so the truth about the ratings they released is questionable to a degree.
NBA 2K25 is set for a global release on September 6.

75 being the highest rookie rating in NBA 2K25 a sign of weakness of the 2024 NBA Draft
NBA 2K25 has revealed the ratings of some of the rookies this year that are included in the game’s roster, and their ratings look lower compared to the stats of the previous classes
Zaccharie Risacher, this year’s first-overall draft pick, gets a rating of 75, which is already the highest among this season’s rookies. Stephon Castle, the fourth-overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs, with 73, follows him. In third place is Cody Williams, the 10th overall pick of the Utah Jazz, with 71.

Risacher played two games in the Summer League, averaging 14.5 points on 39.3 percent shooting from the field. Castle played just one Summer League game, scoring 22 points on a 38.1 field goal percentage.
Other rookies with revealed ratings so far include Jared McCain (Philadelphia 76ers, 70), Ryan Dunn (Phoenix Suns, 70), and Oso Ighodaro (Phoenix Suns, 68).
In comparison, Paolo Banchero and Victor Wembanyama, the first-overall picks of the previous two NBA Drafts, received 78 and 84 as their ratings in their respective NBA 2K debuts.
One name missing from the initially revealed ratings was Alex Sarr, the second-overall pick of this season. He played four Summer League games, averaging 5.5 points on 19.1 field goal percentage, including 11.8 percent from beyond the arc.
It may take a while before all the player ratings are revealed before NBA 2K25
launches. The rookies’ ratings may seem low, but they will have the entire 2024–25 season to show the game developers that they are worth more.
