Former NBA Most Valuable Player Charles Barkley is still convinced that the Boston Celtics will win it all in the 2024 NBA Finals. The Celtics need just one more hump to overcome before taking home another title in franchise history, with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks being the only ones standing in their way.
Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley makes 2024 NBA Finals prediction

Even after the Mavericks disposed of the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 7 of the 2024 NBA Western Conference finals, Barkley still believed that the Celtics would end up winning the title. However, he said that he expects an entertaining series between Boston and Dallas.
“I still haven’t seen anything to make me think the Celtics are not going to win the championship. … I think it’s gonna be a hell of a series but I like the Celtics.”

The Celtics have only lost two times in the playoffs so far. They are also coming off a sweep of the Indiana Pacers in the 2024 Eastern Conference finals despite not having big man Kristaps Porzingis around. Porzingis, who has not seen action since the first-round series versus the Miami Heat, is looking healthier by the day, and if he gets a greenlight to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, he would be a tremendous re-addition to an already loaded Celtics roster that also features the tandem of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Game 1 of the finals will be on Thursday in Boston.
