The NBA 2024 Playoffs have put forth a new generation of stars who have dominated in different parts of the game, such as scoring. Turns out, there’s a select group of players from one university that has put out the most points in this year’s postseason.
The playoffs this year started with eight teams in each conference vying for the chance to make it to the NBA Finals. As it stands, Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks and Jayson Tatum’s Boston Celtics have it made the furthest among those teams to slug it out and earn the right to become champions.

Speaking of Doncic, the Dallas All-Star guard is leading this year’s NBA playoffs in total scoring (519), rebounding (174), assists (151), steals (30), and field goals (178), among others. Daniel Gafford, his teammate with the Mavs, is leading in blocks with 30 made during the whole time so far.
Taking a look at the numbers and it’s evident that Doncic has been playing like a madman throughout the entire postseason. As a result, the Western Conference MVP has elevated the Mavericks to contention against a Boston team led by All-Star Jayson Tatum. With a couple of games more, the finalized list of leaders in the playoffs will finally be known.
University of Kentucky Stars Are Dominating the 2024 NBA Playoffs in Scoring

Among the many stats that have come out of the 2024 Playoffs is the players who have scored the most for their respective teams. Andrew Weatherman posted a different take on that stat by showing which universities and their players have dominated in scoring.

As it stands, the University of Kentucky is leading in this category with 1,831 points and Duke coming in at second with 1,251 points. The former boasted players like Devin Booker, Karl-Anthony Towns, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and PJ Washington, among others. The latter, meanwhile, still has Dereck Lively II and Kyrie Irving active in the playoffs.

It remains to be seen whether Kentucky can retain its lead or Duke somehow makes a desperate attempt to knock them off the top spot. In any case, it’s looking like the former has got the scoring part of the game covered.
