Although both Bronny James and Victor Wembanyama are two of the NBA’s brightest young stars, they couldn’t be more different in any other way. Turns out, though, both players have the same weight, a detail which has left fans buzzing.

Wembanyama, a 7’4″ French phenom, was the consensus top pick lasts season. After dominating professionally in France, the 20-year-old was selected first overall by the San Antonio Spurs during the 2023 Draft. In his rookie season, He made an instant impact, becoming the first rookie ever named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team. He finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting and was unanimously voted Rookie of the Year.

While the Spurs’ star took the league by storm last season, a lot of eyes were on James during the past few months. LeBron’s eldest son had a promising high school career and played one season with the USC Trojans. Around a month ago, the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny in the second round using their 55th pick.

These two players represent the future of the league. Wembanyama’s dominance on both ends of the floor and Bronny’s defensive upside have basketball fans eagerly anticipating how they’ll perform next season.

NBA Fans Are Buzzing After It Was Revealed Bronny James and Victor Wembanyama Have The Same Wight

Even before the two players have faced on the court, fans are already buzzing about them online. In a post by SportsCenter on their official Instagram account, it was revealed that both individuals have the same weight.

This revelation highlights a pair of key points for both players. James’ 6’2 physique allows him to take on certain defensive assignments while giving him the ability to force his way inside the paint on the offensive end. Wemby, on the other hand, may need to bulk up more since a slender 7’4″ frame won’t do any good against heavier opponents on the court.

Things can still change since the two stars are still early in their careers. But for now, fans will be expecting their first matchup to see who will come out on top when it does happen next season.
