At 40 years old, LeBron James could be just sitting it back at home, traveling the world, or hosting a podcast. Instead, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is still busy playing basketball at a high level in the NBA.
Unlike many other superstars before him who simply aged on the bench before fading away, the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player continues to have a crucial role in his team – a playoff contender at that.
LeBron James added to his incredible basketball resume by winning the NBA’s Player of the Month award for February, the league announced as well via its official account on X (formerly Twitter).
“The Western Conference @Kia Player of the Month for February is LeBron James!”
James’ incredible February is underscored by his fantastic averages of 29.3 points, 10.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists through 11 games while shooting 55.5 percent from the field and an impressive 44.3 percent from deep on 7.2 3-point attempts per outing.
Again, James is 40 years old already.
