Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss has been satisfied with how the Luka Doncic trade worked out for them, especially since they’re now the second seed in the Western Conference.

Buss recently spoke with Texas Public Radio’s Alejandra Martinez to discuss it, and the Los Angeles Lakers boss confirmed what many had suspected – that Anthony Davis was unhappy in Los Angeles.
“We have lost the last three years in a row to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs, and we really didn’t have anything that was going to look different going into the playoffs again. Anthony Davis was complaining about where he was being played and he wasn’t happy. So, I think this was a positive for both teams,” Buss stated.

“They (Dallas Mavericks) got what they were looking for; we got what we were looking for. And I didn’t realize it was going to be international news like it was, but that’s the power of the Laker brand and its ability to draw big names who want to write their own chapter in Lakers history,” she added.
Los Angeles Lakers notch seventh straight win
The Los Angeles Lakers secured their seventh consecutive win following a 136-115 result over the New Orleans Pelicans yesterday.

LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to reach at least 50,000 career points (regular season and playoffs) after recording 34 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and five three-pointers on 10-for-18 shooting from the field and 9-for-9 from the free throw line.
Co-star Luka Doncic had 30 points, eight rebounds, 15 assists, and six three-pointers on 9-for-19 shooting from the field.
