The Phoenix Suns’ playoff hopes were dealt a huge blow after suffering a 116-98 blowout loss at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves last Sunday.

One of the biggest moments in the game came during crunch time when Kevin Durant turned the ball over late in the final period. Donte DiVincenzo tried an alley-oop bounce pass to Anthony Edwards, prompting Bradley Beal to push Edwards while he was in the air to prevent a dunk.
Beal was rightfully called for a flagrant-1 for his dangerous foul on Edwards. His foul sums up the Phoenix Suns’ frustrations in the past few games.

Many fans didn’t like what they saw from Beal since he ruined a potential all-time highlight. The three-time NBA All-Star aired his side to reporters after the game.
Phoenix Suns News: Bradley Beal explains why he committed a flagrant foul on Anthony Edwards
Bradley Beal didn’t mean any harm to Anthony Edwards when he pushed him while he was in the air. The Phoenix Suns guard said he did it since he doesn’t want to see another highlight-reel play at their expense.

“We not about to turn us into a highlight reel. Like, we’ve already seen enough highlights from them tonight. I was just making an aggressive play and just letting him know, like, we’re not doing that. And he respected it,” Beal explained via Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports.
“It wasn’t too much. They were trying to say, ‘You can’t do that!’ That’s fine but you can’t be thinking that I would just let that happen either. Both sides have every right to feel and do what they do,” he added.
