Bradley Beal will remain out for the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, against the Boston Celtics. Beal has missed four straight games due to a left hamstring strain. On Tuesday, head coach Mike Budenholzer talked to the media about the All-Star guard. According to Bud, the former Washington Wizards star remains out for the team against the defending champions.
The head coach talked about Beal’s progress. The three-time All-Star has reportedly been doing court work practices. Although, the star guard has not yet been cleared to play 5-on-5 games.
“No,” Bud said when asked if Beal has done any 5-on-5 practices.

“He’s doing court work. No, he will not play tomorrow. He’s ramping up his court work. We feel like he’s making good progress. I think he’s like nine, 10 days out. The next few days are big. We’ll just see how he progresses each day.”
Bud did not give any update on when the star will return to the lineup.
NBA News: The Phoenix Suns All-Star duo have played well without Beal
Forbes NBA writer Evan Sidery posted on X (formerly Twitter) about how the Phoenix Suns have been successful without Beal. Phoenix has a 13-3 record when Devin Booker and Kevin Durant play together without the third player of their All-Star trio. This includes the recent four-game winning streak that they’ve had since the 6-foot-4 guard has been out with his hamstring issue.

The Suns are 10th in the Western Conference with a 35-37 record. The team has a chance of being in the Play-In Tournament and possibly playing in the postseason.
Fans react to the Phoenix Suns’ record without Beal

The Phoenix Suns have benefitted in Beal’s absence by surrounding their other two stars with capable shooters and defenders. With how they’ve recently won, fans had a bit of fun with it on social media.
“Imagine all the potential moves they coulda made if they didn’t jump the gun and add Beal,” a fan said.
“That’s the result of no Beal, he’s not a good fit with this team, he can’t do anything but score,” another fan said.
“Beal move never made sense. They needed a pg or center. (I know they got tyus),” one fan commented.

“Imagine the Suns with Book and KD being the primary scorers with 50 mill in cap space to surround them with legit 3 & D pieces”
“We all knew trading for Beal would be a huge mistake idk why they did that. Could have used all that asset for a legit contending roster”
“Once again, outside of cap space … Beal does nothing for this team.”
