The Phoenix Suns suffered their fourth-straight loss on Tuesday, against the Milwaukee Bucks, 133-123. The Suns were led by All-Star guard Devin Booker, who had 39 points and 11 assists on 14-for-32 shooting from the field. Their game against the Bucks is the first without Kevin Durant, who suffered a sprained left ankle and is expected to miss at least a week of action.
The Suns tried their best to pour in all their efforts against Milwaukee. Grayson Allen helped the team with 23 points, four rebounds and three assists on 46.2% shooting from deep. His performance on Tuesday was reminiscent of how he played in the 2023-24 NBA season. Two-way guard Collin Gillespie started the game and had 18 points and four assists on 50% shooting from the 3-point arc.

With their recent stretch of losses, their chances of being in the Play-In Tournament are gradually fading away.
NBA News: Phoenix Suns head coach knows that Booker only cares about winning
Booker tried his best with the support he had to try and win over the tough Bucks squad. However, they couldn’t stop forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 37 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and three steals against Phoenix.
Following their tough loss, head coach Mike Budenholzer was asked about his thoughts on Booker’s 39-point game. While Bud praised the four-time All-Star for what he did, he knows that the final numbers that the former Kentucky star had didn’t matter since the team lost.
“I thought Book was amazing. His will, his fight. I’m sure he doesn’t care. All he cares is about winning, but he was working and I think the guys fed off of him,” Bud said.

The Suns’ next game will be against the defending champions, the Boston Celtics, on Friday.
Booker wants to remain loyal to the Phoenix Suns

Logan Murdock of The Ringer had an opportunity to speak with Booker. Since the previous season, the top guard’s circumstances with the Suns have deteriorated. The 6-foot-6 guard has been linked to leaving the team, but there was no sign in his interview with Murdock that he would be open to playing for another team.
“It’s not always greener on the other side,” said Booker. “People always want to leave their situation and end up in a worse situation, and then they go missing. You’ll never have the love like you have from the team that drafted you.”
“How does a team with two Hall of Fame guys, two Olympians, two guys in their prime, how do they not go further?“

To sum things up, Booker is loyal to the organization, whether they’re winning or losing. Since getting drafted by the franchise in 2015, the Michigan native has witnessed everything, from being at the bottom to being a few games away from a championship.
