What happened Tuesday night in The Association will be something fans will be talking about for a very long time. On one hand, there was Stephen Curry’s incredible 52-point performance in the Golden State Warriors win against the Memphis Grizzlies.
On the other hand was the 61-point triple-double of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. Those are two of the greatest players ever authoring two of the best individual performances in league history — on the same night.

Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic had a night fans will remember

Even at 37 years old, Curry can often still be the best player on the floor on any given night, and Tuesday was just one of those evenings.
On the season, the four-time NBA champion is averaging 24.4 points and while he is just shooting 44.6 percent from the field, he has a 39.9 percent success rate from deep and a 61.7 true shooting percentage.
Meanwhile, Jokic perhaps improved his MVP stock with his eye-opening numbers in the Minnesota game. The 30-year-old Jokic got nearly everything he wanted against the Timberwolves — except the win.

The Nuggets ended up suffering a 140-139 double-overtime loss at the hands of Minnesota.
So far this season, the seven-time NBA All-Star is putting up averages of 29.7 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game while making 57.5 percent of his attempts from the floor and 41.6 percent from behind the arc.
With just a few games left on the table this regular season for the Nuggets, Jokic is expected to finish the campaign with a triple-double average.
