With trades throughout the NBA coming to a close today, players are making debuts with their new team in style. Going through Wednesday’s shoes, I have picked out my top five kicks to share. Noticeably, basketball player signature shoes were heavy on the court.
At number five is the Denver Nuggets center, Nikola Jovic, putting in 38 points to help his team win 144 to 119 against the New Orleans Pelicans. Jovic was in a pair of Anthony Edwards 1 ‘Low-Iron Metallic’ on Wednesday.

These signature shoes from Adidas Basketball and Anthony Edwards are built for ‘certified bucket-getters.’ Combined with Boost and Lightstrike it helps add outstanding energy to the most explosive moves.
Taking fourth is a new power forward for the New Orleans Pelicans, Kelly Olynyk. He played his last game with the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday in a pair of Nike KD 16 “Boardroom” against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Coming in third, in a pair of his signature shoes, is the Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards. Scoring 39 points against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday in a pair of AE 1 ‘Deep Blue.’

The bold blue and lime green lace color combination was available for sale in March 2024. They provide energy return without weighing the foot down. With TPU support wings on the sides, they provide stability and feature a honeycomb-like design. The AE 1 is available in many color combinations all with a honeycomb-like pattern.
Number two for Wednesday’s kicks is the point guard for the Detroit Pistons, Cade Cunningham. In a pair of Nike G.T. Cut 3 Cade Cunningham PE, he scored 38 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This year, Cunningham debuted the player-exclusive colorway with his new signature logo, with no sign of public sale yet. The G.T. Cut 3 is a very popular basketball shoe that was designed to help create space for stepback jumpers and backdoor cuts. It’s sticky multicourt traction helps to stop on a dime and shift gears at will and ultra-responsive ZoomX foam to help keep fresh for four quarters.
Taking first place is Marcus Smart, point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies, playing for 18 minutes against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Smart was rocking a pair of Puma’s All-Pro Nitro Mexico.

Using advanced nitrogen-infused foam technology, this aquatic-sparkling green rendition of the All-Pro is a nod towards the 2024 Mexico City Game.
