Giannis Antetokounmpo may soon say ‘goodbye’ to the Milwaukee Bucks, that is, if the team does not play their cards right. According to Brian Lewis from the New York Post, the Brooklyn Nets are very interested in acquiring the 30-year-old power forward and will try to get him in their squad by any means. At the same time, the team is also getting ready with alternatives to Antetokounmpo, incase Plan A does not fall through.

Antetokounmpo has been playing for the Milwaukee Bucks since 2013, after being selected by the team as the 15th overall pick in the very first round of the NBA draft. The ‘Greek Freak’ has brought nothing but performance to the Bucks, currently positioning the team in a cushy no. 6 in the Eastern Conference with 40 wins and 34 defeats on the season.
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have not been doing too well this NBA season and are presently ranked 12th in the Eastern Conference after winning 25 games and losing 51 so far. In the ongoing NBA season, the Nets are led in offense by Cam Thomas who has a 24.0 point average, while Cameron Johnson is second in the list with an 18.8 point average on the season.
On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo boasts a much superior 30.2 point average per game in this NBA season, which will be fantastic for the Brooklyn Nets if he does indeed join the team. Antetokounmpo is leading the Milwaukee Bucks on the scoreboard, while Damian Lillard is doing his part with a 24.9-point average.

Giannis Antetokounmpo And Milwaukee Bucks To Meet Phoenix Suns Next
Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are getting ready to face the Phoenix Suns in a few hours. The Milwaukee Bucks are coming to this game after meeting the Atlanta Hawks in the previous matchup and losing with a final 145-124 score.

Against Atlanta, Milwaukee was led on the scoreboard by none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo who chalked up 31 points, along with nine rebounds and five helpers, while Kevin Porter Jr. added another 28 points, with four boards and five assists. Kyle Kuzma managed to contribute 25 more points for the Bucks in the losing effort against the Suns.

After meeting the Phoenix Suns, the Milwaukee Bucks will be paired with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Bucks are currently riding a four-game losing streak, and are getting desperate to shake this off by winning against the Suns.
