NBA trade rumors are swirling around Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant. The Suns are having a tough season with a 29-33 record. Phoenix is still four games behind the .500 mark and is sitting at the 11th spot in the Western Conference.
Durant will undoubtedly garner attention from several teams. Surprisingly, NBA insiders have already put together a list of teams. The Suns have a slim chance of making the playoffs. They might as well part ways with Durant and bring in other top prospects.
OG Anunoby and Durant have been linked with trade rumors for a while. Durant to the Knicks for Anunoby might be a great deal for both ends. On the other hand, the Houston Rockets can let go of several players to seal a deal with Kevin Durant.
Ex-NBA GM Bobby Marks has made his own trade proposal for the star player. Marks’ proposal includes Cam Whitmore, Dillon Brooks, Reed Sheppard, Jock Landale, and the 2025 and 2027 first-round picks. It does seem a lot, but it’s hard to replace Durant.
“And while OG Anunoby is probably the best ‘win-now’ player included in the trade, the $176 million left on his contract after this season is a hard no. Brooks can give Phoenix the same production at a quarter of what is owed to Anunoby,” Marks said.

ESPN Insider Brian Windhorst Sees Kevin Durant Moving Out Soon
Many have already predicted Kevin Durant to be on his way. The Suns are ready to part ways but they are probably waiting for the right deal to come their way. It could take a while or it might happen in the next few weeks. Nevertheless, Durant is moving out soon. ESPN insider Brian Windhorst recently shed light on Durant’s situation.
“They’re gonna trade him (KD), and he knows that,” Windhorst said. “He’s given them a couple of opportunities where he could’ve criticized them for trying to trade him; he has not done that. He’s been very professional about it and I expect him to continue that throughout the rest of the regular season,” Windhorst said.

Any team that adds Kevin Durant to their roster will reap the best out of him. It’s hard to see a team decline in their performance after adding the two-time champion. Sadly, Suns fans must be prepared to see their star player move out. Durant will have a number of options ready to give him a strong offer to join their team. The Knicks could be the frontrunner for the All-Star player.
