Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid scored 70 points against Victor Wembanyama in their first match up last season but fans failed to witness anything close to this kaiju match up and they are blaming the referees.
They even think they are the reasons why NBA ratings are down, a major issue being discussed lately.
NBA viewers denied of superstar action as Joel Embiid got ejected in the second quarter for two technical fouls.
There are a lot of things that happened before that and they all involved the San Antonio Spurs.
First, Sixers center Andre Drummond was ejected for two Ts, one of them was for complaining about the flop by Wemby.
He was ejected but was asked to come back after officials rescinded his second technical foul.
Embiid was up next complaining to the referees.

He drove to the basket with Wembanyama waiting for him but the French giant allegedly flopped again. Embiid was called for an offensive foul and he could not accept that.
He chased the referee who made the call and got a technical foul for it. He was ejected but unlike Drummond, it was not rescinded.
Embiid, who’s trying to be healthy again and help the team, finished the game with 9 points, 3 rebounds, one assists, and two steals in 15 minutes.
Philly, who should feel more urgency to win now, won the game, 111-106.
Wasted opportunity to see Joel Embiid vs Wemby again
Reactions to the game and Embiid’s ejection is generally negative. Many thought the technical foul calls were soft.
“The refs have absolutely no idea what is going on. They ejected Drummond, then called a flopping technical on Wemby, then allowed Drummond to return, had Maxey shoot a tech, then said there was no flopping technical and called off Maxey’s free throw. This is unbelievable,” Sixers reporter Adam Aaronson wrote.
“This is exactly why the sport is dying lol,” a Philly fan replied.
Others are focused on the regret that they would not see the battle between two giants.
