The New York Knicks are still undefeated in their current homestand after they dominated the Dallas Mavericks in a 128-113 victory at Madison Square Garden in the Big Apple Tuesday night.
Before that, the Knicks drubbed the Washington Wizards in a 122-103 win last Saturday to start their three-game homestand.
The pair of Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart had quite a night versus the Mavericks.
Towns torched Dallas for 26 points on 10-for-19 shooting from the field while adding 12 rebounds and 11 boards in 34 minutes. Hart, on the other hand, also had a triple-double, scoring 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting with 12 boards and 11 dimes to his name in 33 minutes.
New York Knicks saw history made in win vs. Mavs

It was the first time ever that two New York players recorded a trip-dub in the same game in the history of the league.
Via the Knicks’ public relations department on X (formerly Twitter):
Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart are now the first pair of Knicks teammates in franchise history to record a triple-double in the same game.

The Knicks also got a big performance from OG Anunoby, who led New York in scoring with 35 points on 15-for-24 shooting while Mikal Bridges had 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting.
New York is a virtual lock to make the 2025 NBA Playoffs but they still need to collect more victories in order to secure the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have the top seed in the East in the bag while the Boston Celtics have the No. 2 seed virtually theirs.
