New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson recently played his second consecutive NBA All-Star Game, and he is not taking it for granted.

The 28-year-old star played under Kenny’s Young Stars but didn’t get much playing time, as he only logged eight minutes. Still, he expressed his gratitude to his fans, particularly from New York, who have supported him in his journey.
“THANK YOU to the Knicks fan base and everyone who has supported me since day 1! Wouldn’t have been here without your votes! Love being able to represent you guys and I don’t take it for granted! Much love !! 🤞🏽🧡💙” Brunson posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Brunson and Kenny’s Young Stars lost 41-32 to Chuck’s Global Stars in the semi-finals of the new All-Star format. The Villanova product only had three points and three assists.
Jalen Brunson continues to ball out for the New York Knicks
Jalen Brunson’s rise to stardom is remarkable considering he played second fiddle to Luka Doncic during his time with the Dallas Mavericks from 2018 to 2022. When he became a free agent, the New York Knicks jumped at the opportunity to sign Brunson by giving him a four-year, $104 million contract. Last summer, they gave him a four-year extension.

He is averaging 26.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists on 49.2 percent shooting from the field and 39.7 percent from three-point range across 53 starts this season.
Because of his solid performances, Brunson is ninth in the updated NBA MVP ladder. Meanwhile, his teammate Karl-Anthony Towns is fifth on the list.
