Josh Hart and the New York Knicks had a wild ride in the 2024 NBA Playoffs. They reached the second round of the postseason and looked as though they were going to play in the Eastern Conference finals when they took a 2-0 series lead over Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers. But the Pacers turned things around and capitalized on the banged-up Knicks roster to upset New York in seven games and move on to face the Boston Celtics in the East finals.
But whatever momentum the Pacers got from their series win over the Knicks quickly evaporated versus the Celtics, who swept Indiana clean in four games. That has led to some friendly clowning against Haliburton and the Pacers from Hart.

During a recent episode of the Roommates Show, Hart told a story about how he took a hilarious shot at Haliburton over that brutal Indiana fate against the Celtics (h/t Bleacher Report).
“I’m like, damn y’all couldn’t get one win? Y’all beat us Game 7, whatever, y’all mad hype,” Hart said. “Y’all couldn’t get one win? After three leads in the fourth? Obviously if we moved on, [Jalen Brunson] wouldn’t have been playing, I would have tried to play, I don’t know how I would have been. Damn, we could’ve did that… At least get one.”
To be fair to the Pacers, though, even Hart sort of admitted that the Knicks also wouldn’t stand much of a chance against Boston given the overall health of New York’s roster.
