A postgame interview incident involving OG Anunoby and All-Star big man Karl-Anthony Towns has gone viral due to the former grabbing the reporter’s mic. This moment comes after the New York Knicks won a game against the Charlotte Hornets.

New York delivered an impressive performance, defeating the Charlotte Hornets with a score of 125-101 at Madison Square Garden. Anunoby played a pivotal role in the victory, scoring 25 points and showcasing his defensive prowess with crucial blocks during a decisive third quarter. His contributions helped the the team pull away from a tightly contested game, particularly during a dominant 28-6 run that shifted the momentum entirely in their favor.

Karl-Anthony Towns was another standout for New York, finishing the game with 27 points and 16 rebounds. His ability to control the paint and score efficiently bolstered the New York’s offense, while Jalen Brunson added 24 points, including 19 in the first quarter alone. All five Knicks starters contributed significantly, each scoring at least 18 points, highlighting the team’s depth and offensive versatility.

For the Hornets, the loss marked their seventh consecutive defeat, continuing a challenging stretch for the team. Brandon Miller led Charlotte with 26 points, but the absence of key players like LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges severely hampered their performance. The Hornets struggled to find consistency, especially after losing rookie Tidjane Salaun to injury early in the game.

New York’s victory not only showcased their growing chemistry but also demonstrated their resilience as they continue to improve their season record. With this win, they solidified their standing in the Eastern Conference, moving to 14-8 and maintaining a strong home court presence.
