There is one seemingly notorious hotel in Oklahoma City that NBA players are terrified of. Former New York Knicks big man Eddy Curry recently recalled a spooky experience at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, saying that he once saw the television in his room running after he returned from the bathroom even though he was sure he didn’t turn it on.

Curry also said he went to the room of his former Knicks teammate, Nate Robinson, after getting spooked by what happened.
After hearing Curry’s story, Amin Elhassa, during an episode of “Pablo Torre Finds Out,” said that he needed to hear what Robinson could say about the “haunted” hotel.
“I’ll give you one quote, ‘F*ck that hotel. I’ll never stay there ever again,” wrote Robinson in a message reply to Elhassa.

It can be strange to hear NBA players, who are some of the most physically superior human beings, get scared by a hotel, but everyone’s got different terror thresholds, too, and that’s not directly correlated to one’s literal size.
“They said it happened on the 10th floor and I’m the only one staying on the 10th floor,” Curry said in 2010 (via The Oklahoman) when he was still with the Knicks. He was also referring to a legend that in the 1930s, a woman leaped to her death while holding a baby.
“That’s why I spent most of my time in (Nate Robinson‘s) room. I definitely believe there are ghosts in that hotel.”
In any case, both Curry and Robinson are no longer in the NBA, so they don’t have to worry about making a trip to Oklahoma City for a game and staying at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel.
