The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Miami Heat 104-97 as they moved to 22-5 of the season. Thunder extended their winning streak to seven games and are No. 1 seed in the West.
They really showcased their defensive prowess with the win as they moved to 13-0 this season when holding opponents under 100 points. OKC really turned up the pressure late and went on a couple of runs to put this one out of reach.
Jalen William’s performance against Miami
Thunder small forward Jalen Williams scored a season-high 33 points to go with six rebounds and four assists. He had 13 points in the fourth quarter against Miami.
Jalen Williams was the first option for the Thunder on offense yesterday as he was playing his best basketball making key shots and scoring in the midrange. Willams showed last night that he could score from all three levels.
Jalen William’s production this season
Jalen Williams had an incredible game last night. That’s his 7th game leading the Thunder in scoring this season.
Jalen Williams is averaging over 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. Of the 15 players that have averaged those numbers in their 3rd career season, 13 have made the All-Star game. He should be an NBA All Star this season.
