The Oklahoma City Thunder notched a 121-105 road win against the Sacramento Kings last night, becoming the first NBA team to reach 60 wins this regular season.

As usual, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way. The three-time NBA All-Star posted 32 points, seven rebounds, and five assists on 10-for-23 shooting from the field and 9-for-10 from the free throw line in 33 minutes.
According to Clemente Almanza of the OKC Thunder Wire, this was Gilgeous-Alexander’s 65th straight game with at least 20 points, breaking Kevin Durant’s franchise record of 64 straight games.

Brandon Rahbar of the Daily Thunder also noted that Gilgeous-Alexander notched his 45th 30-point game this season. The Canadian international has scored at least 30 points in 65 percent of his games.
Oklahoma City Thunder News: Former NBA Coach of the Year bats for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to win MVP
Byron Scott believes this year’s MVP award is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s to lose. According to the former Los Angeles Lakers guard, the Oklahoma City Thunder star deserves it since he has been the “most consistent” player in the league this season.

“For me, SGA — from the start of this year up until this particular point — has been the most consistent player in the NBA. He has had this team on his back,” Scott said on his YouTube channel.
“Now, he has help. He has some other young guys that can flat-out get it done as well, but he is the key to make this engine run when you look at OKC. So for me, the way that this kid plays and the way he’s matured as a leader of this team,” he concluded.
