Another Dallas Mavericks game on Friday meant another round of injury updates from head coach Jason Kidd during his pregame press conference. At 32-31, the Mavs were set to play the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night at American Airlines Center without stars Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis.
Irving is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL on Monday night. Davis played 31 minutes for the Mavs before sustaining a left adductor strain that has kept him out of the lineup. Per a report Friday, he’s improving, but it’s unclear if he’ll play another game this season.
The Dallas Mavericks lose a PF for the season

Per Shams Charnaia of ESPN, the Mavs learned they will before without forward Oliver-Maxence Prosper for the remainder of the season.
“Another injury blow to Dallas: Mavericks forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper has a serious right wrist injury and is expected to require season-ending surgery, sources tell ESPN,” Charania posted on X.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper has ligament damage

The former Marquette Golden Eagle has ligament damage in the wrist.
“Prosper has been diagnosed with ligament damage in his right wrist, sources said,” Charania posted on X. “The 2023 first-round pick had received more opportunity recently, averaging 5.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 16.3 minutes over his last 24 games, including four starts.”

Prosper is averaging 3.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and .8 assists per game this season. The six-foot-seven, 230-pound athlete is another significant miss for a team without Davis.
At 22, Prosper could have used the spring to develop his talents as the Mavs decide what to do with their roster before next season.
