Orlando Magic guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope said he isn’t worried about Al Horford’s comments about the team crossing the line with their physicality.

Caldwell-Pope said he meant no harm to Jayson Tatum, who missed Game 2 last night due to a wrist injury after the two-time NBA champion collided with the Boston Celtics forward on a dunk attempt during the final period of Game 1.
“I didn’t hear any comments (from Horford). I’m not worried about any comments. At the end of the day, this is how I play,” Caldwell-Pope explained via Bobby Manning on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“This is how I’ve been playing in playoff basketball. A hard foul is a hard foul. I really don’t care what anybody says. I’m still gonna play how I play, how I’m supposed to play for my team at the end of the day…Whether they thought it was a flagrant foul or a bad call or whatever it was, I just went up to block the ball,” he added.
Orlando Magic News: Cole Anthony scoffs at Al Horford’s comments
The Orlando Magic will try to compensate for their talent disadvantage with their physicality and defense, and they showed it again last night. In Game 2, Orlando committed 23 personal fouls, resulting in 33 free throw attempts for Boston.

After yesterday’s 109-100 defeat, Cole Anthony vowed the Orlando Magic will continue to “muck things up” for the defending NBA champions.
“At the end of the day, if anything, I look at it like a positive because now we’ve got them complaining,” Anthony said about Horford’s take via Orlando Sentinel’s Jason Beede. “We’ve just got to keep our same level of physicality, and at the same time know nobody’s trying to take anybody out and hurt anybody. We all play this game the right way,”
