The beef between former Orlando Magic centers Shaquille O’Neal and Dwight Howard might have already been squashed following the latter’s induction to the Basketball Hall of Fame earlier this week.

O’Neal recently revealed on his podcast that he plans to fulfill Howard’s request to escort him during his Hall of Fame induction.
“Shaq appreciate you man it will be an honor to have you KG, DROD, Hakeem and Kareem walk me into the Basketball Heavens #hof 🙏🏾” Howard posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“I’ll do it. I’ll be there,” O’Neal said. “Of course, that’s my guy.”
Orlando Magic News: Dwight Howard reveals true feelings after Basketball Hall of Fame induction
Former Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard recently appeared on The Dan Patrick Show to explain what went through his mind after being named to the Basketball Hall of Fame. Not too long ago, the 39-year-old was also enshrined in the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame.

“Man, I cried so hard. It’s just like, the first day as soon as I got the call, seeing the name, ‘The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame,’ calling my phone, you know, seeing that and then hearing them actually say you have made it in to one out of 456 people who have been in the Hall of Fame for basketball,” Howard said.
“I just, every memory of basketball that started, my youngest memory, you know my first basketball goal, watching my Magic Johnson tapes and then just the tears start flowing. And man, it’s just an incredible journey with a lot of ups and downs, but to make it to basketball heaven is, for me it’s everything,” he concluded.
