Breanna Stewart, New York Liberty forward, had some amazing words to say about UConn Huskies superstar, Paige Bueckers. In a recent appearance on ‘NBA Today’, Breanna Stewart was asked by Malika Andrews about what she thought about Bueckers, the 30-year-old basketball legend showing her appreciation for the young UConn stalwart.
Paige Bueckers is in her final year of college basketball and is expected to play in the upcoming WNBA season which kicks off in May. With Bueckers leading the UConn Huskies, the team finished their regular season with an 18-0 conference score and 28-3 overall. Bueckers is expected to be the new fresh face of the WNBA in her rookie season.
“Excited for the run they’re gonna make this postseason and hoping that they can get back to the Final Four and finish this thing off perfectly, but it’s just one game at a time, and she’s really just enjoying it. And she knows, after this it’s gonna become crazier and crazier.” Breanna Stewart said about Paige Bueckers’ future in the WNBA.
“We want to be better than we were last year.” 😯

Breanna Stewart is definitely the right person to predict Paige Bueckers’ future in the WNBA, having played in the league since 2016 for the Seattle Storm. Breanna Stewart is a three-time WNBA champion, and also managed to get into the WNBA All-Star six times. In her first year for the Seattle Storm, Stewart won the ‘WNBA Rookie of the Year’ award. Currently, Stewart is playing in the Mist basketball club for the Unrivaled League, which she co-founded.

Breanna Stewart And Mist To Play Against Laces In Next Matchup
On another note, Breanna Stewart and the Mist basketball club will be locking horns with the Laces basketball club in the next matchup of the Unrivaled League. Currently, the Mist is sharing a similar record with the Laces basketball club and are yet to make the playoffs.

The Mist basketball club is coming here after taking on the Rose basketball club in the previous matchup and losing with a final score of 71-62. In that game, Mist’s Breanna Stewart chalked up a total of 22 points, grabbing seven rebounds and assisting five times, while Courtney Vandersloot and DiJonai Carrington each matched 18 points for the team.

Breanna Stewart not only plays for the Mist basketball club in the Unrivaled League, but also co-founded the Unrivaled League with Napheesa Collier. Collier is also playing for the League for the Lunar Owls basketball club. The 3-on-3 tournament is enjoying a successful inaugural season, while also offering female basketball players an opportunity to perform during the WNBA offseason.
