Paige Bueckers gave her fans a fright in the game against the Villanova Wildcats when she collided with another player and injured her knee. Bueckers did not play for the rest of the game and instead sat on the bench icing her knee. Coach Geno Auriemma spoke optimistically about her injury after the game and did not seem too worried about Bueckers’ knee.
Recently, Bueckers was seen dancing in a TikTok video, putting an end to any worries about her knee. The video which was shared by a Bueckers’ fan account showed the 23-year-old wearing a white hoodie with matching sweatpants, and dancing to ‘Viking’ by SahBabii, along with Jana El Alfy and Aubrey Griffin, who are UConn Huskies too.
The UConn Huskies are currently reigning in the Big East table with a conference score of 4-0 and an overall 13-2. In their latest game, the Huskies played against the Villanova Wildcats and won the game with a final score of 83-52. Against the Wildcats, Sarah Strong was the lead scorer with 21 points on the scoreboard, grabbing five rebounds and assisting four times.
Meanwhile, Bueckers managed to contribute 15 points before her injury, along with three boards and nine helpers, the highest for the team in this category. KK Arnold also matched 15 points for the Huskies, with a single rebound and a pair of helpers. Next up, the UConn Huskies will meet the Xavier Musketeers to continue the NCAA schedule.
Paige Bueckers Is In a Gifting Mood Long After Christmas
While the whole world is getting used to writing 2025 instead of 2024 in their emails, the Christmas season is apparently not over for Paige Bueckers. On Monday, the UConn Huskies star posted an Instagram story where she can be seen gifting others goodies from none other than ‘Verizon’.
It seems like Bueckers has managed to land a collaborative deal with the telecommunications company, adding to her ever-growing list. At just 23 years old, Bueckers has already managed to grab the attention of several top brands like Gatorade and will be only improving her NIL valuation, which is currently at $1.4 million.
Bueckers posted a clip of herself in a white hoodie and sweatpants grinning as she went around with a Verizon goodie bag. She also thanked the company in the caption. After her injury scare in the game against the Villanova Wildcats, Paige Bueckers is expected to be seen in action only next week. This means that the star will most probably miss the games against Xavier and Georgetown.
