Bronny James has a new fan in Paul George, as the Los Angeles Clippers forward praised him for his “savviness” in basketball at such a young age.

During the newest episode of the Podcast P show on Wednesday, Bronny James was likened to Boston Celtics guards Jrue Holiday and Derrick White by Paul George because of his ability to become a great glue guy, which could come in handy in the upcoming NBA Draft this summer.
“What’s most impressive (about Bronny James) is just his basketball savviness. His basketball IQ. He can do it all. I feel like he hasn’t shown that he can really be elite at a lot of things. But I think he can be elite at a lot of things,” George said.
“I saw him play in AAU, and he just had an ability to get guys the ball and make guys better. He just played at such a controlled pace. Like, I see it. He doesn’t need to be a star,” he added.

Any team drafting Bronny James is doing so based on potential rather than production because the 19-year-old largely came off the bench for USC in his one collegiate season, averaging only 4.8 points per contest while shooting only 36.6 percent from the floor and 26.7 percent from three-point range.
Bronny James’ latest ranking in the ESPN Mock Draft
Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo of ESPN released their newest mock draft and had Bronny James going to the Los Angeles Lakers with the No. 55 overall pick. In the previous edition, the eldest son of LeBron James was tipped to be picked by the Golden State Warriors with the No. 52 overall pick.

Bronny James has worked out for the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers, with the former holding the No. 22 overall pick and the latter having the No. 17 and 55 overall picks.
According to reports, the former USC guard has rejected workouts with most NBA teams, but his agent Rich Paul defended his decision.
