Paul Pierce is someone who considers his money his god and thinks that it can solve all his problems. At least, this is what analyst and critic Jason Whitlock thinks of the recent controversial take that the former NBA star gave about marriage.
In one of the recent episodes of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock blasted Paul Pierce over his recent comments against marriage and married people. For Whitlock, Pierce’s take on marriage is proof that he considers his money his god.
“Paul Pierce, like a lot of people who are wealthy, money becomes your god,” Whitlock said. “And he thinks he has the money to pay for all of what he needs. And perhaps he does on this earth.”
“Money is his god and and he thinks money solves all problems. So, he’s not very wise. He’s detached from a biblical worldview. Never mentions God.”
“Marriage is, as I’ve explained before, it’s about the pursuit of holiness,” Whitlock went on. “It’s about the pursuit of preparing yourself for eternity. It’s about developing. It’s about having kids and discipling them in the right way. It’s about the birthing and developing, and nurturing of your fruit. And if you want to do that properly, you need to be in a marriage.”
Paul Pierce has sparked controversy with his recent comments on marriage, claiming that it is only for poor and elderly people. In a blunt conversation on his show, Pierce argued that marriage offers no real advantage for men, especially those who are wealthy or successful.

Paul Pierce Takes Credit for Celtics’ Game 3 Victory Over Knicks
Former Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce celebrated the team’s 115-93 win over the New York Knicks in Game 3, claiming credit for their success. Pierce had previously made a bold bet, promising to walk 15 miles barefoot if the Celtics lost Game 2, and he followed through after their defeat.

However, after Boston’s dominant performance in Game 3, Pierce took to social media, stating, “I walked so we all can run. Happy Mother’s Day.” His playful remark suggested that his sacrifice had somehow inspired the Celtics to bounce back in the series.

The Celtics, who had struggled in Games 1 and 2, looked much more composed in Game 3, executing their offense efficiently and shutting down the Knicks’ key players. Their victory was crucial, as it kept them in contention for a series comeback, with Game 4 offering a chance to even the score.
As the Celtics prepare for their next matchup, the influence of Paul Pierce—whether symbolic or motivational—continues to be felt among fans and players alike.
