Joel Embiid was ejected in the second quarter versus the Spurs after arguing with official Jenna Schroder. This occurred after Victor Wembanyama took a charge from Embiid, and he did not like the call one bit.

Embiid has already missed 19 games this season, and getting ejected in the second quarter is not a good sign. Philly has dearly missed their MVP and All-NBA player, and leaving the game due to a dispute with an official cannot happen.
Philly Cannot Catch A Break
The big three of Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George have only played in four full games with each other. The Sixers know they need all three players to perform in order to be successful.
Joel Embiid was already suspended this season for lashing out against Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Marcus Hayes. He cannot charge at an official and yell expletives. The referee made some very questionable calls during the first half versus San Antonio, but the reaction cannot be that way.
The Sixers have a lot of season left, but at this rate, the playoffs look light years away. Joel Embiid has to try his best to stay on the floor to help lift this struggling team to success.
