Facing elimination for the second game in a row, the Philadelphia 76ers needed all hands on deck and everyone who was called to see action Thursday night to step up. Unfortunately for the Sixers, Tobias Harris didn’t seem to get the memo.
Harris was a no-show in Game 6 against the New York Knicks at home. He scored zero points and perhaps even more befuddling was the fact that he took just two shots from the floor in a game where he should have been at his most aggressive state. The Sixers’ season ended in a 118-115 loss to the Knicks.
Most 76ers fans were calling for Harris to be more productive even before Game 6, but they were all let down hard by the former first-round pick who probably had already played his last game in Philadelphia uniform.
Philadelphia 76ers, NBA Fans Clown Tobias Harris for Pathetic Performance in Game 6 vs Knicks

Harris signed a five-year deal worth $180 million with the 76ers back in 2019, and those who felt that Philadelphia massively overpaid for him at the time are all feeling vindicated after he put up a stinker in Game 6.
“Tobias Harris agent deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for finessing the Sixers out of $180 Million 💀,” said @LakeShowYo.

“I never have to think about Tobias Harris again,” shared @PanasonicDX4500.
Even StatMuse joined the Tobias Harris slander party: “Fun fact: Tobias Harris had the same amount of points as Ben Simmons for the Sixers tonight.”
A tough truth to accept for Sixers fans right here from @PHLEaglesNation: “Every single person reading this tweet had as many points as Tobias Harris tonight. Except we didn’t make $40M this year.”
“After 5 and a half LONG years the Tobias Harris era in Philadelphia FINALLY comes to an end on a very fitting note as he bows out with a big fat goose egg in the points column tonight. Good. F******g. Riddance.” uttered @HoopsReference.
What’s Next for Tobias Harris?

Harris, who finished the first round with averages of 9.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting just 43.1 percent from the field, is a pending free agent. Based on what he showed in the Knicks series, it’s hard to imagine the Sixers offering him a significant contract in the summer.
