Philadelphia 76ers news: There’s no denying that Paul George is one of the most heavily criticized superstars in all of the NBA. After all, more than a few fans out there have made him a laughing stock over his bold “Playoff P” claim amid the nine-time All-Star’s shortcomings in the postseason.
Now that he’s joined the Sixers, George gets a clean slate. At the same time, however, the 34-year-old will encounter some of the toughest sets of fans in all of the NBA.

George knows what he signed up for, though. The six-time All-NBA forward is well aware of what the Philly faithful bring to the table, which is why he’s welcoming the challenge head-on. In fact, George has actually issued a strong statement aimed at Sixers fans about the type of criticism he hopes to get now that he’s on the team.
“At the end of the day, it’s Brotherly Love, right? … be as critical and as hard as you can… I’m looking forward to that,” he said, via Law Murray of The Athletic.
You don’t have to tell Philly supporters to get loud. This is their nature and this is exactly what makes them one of the most passionate fanbases on the planet.
Naturally, Sixers fans will be hoping that George is able to live up to his lofty $211 million price tag. If he does not, however, you can be sure that the supporters will be on his case all day long.
