Legendary NBA commentator Kevin Harlan said that Philadelphia 76ers’ Paul George has been looking to the careers of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James to improve his game, especially as he is slowly approaching the twilight of his career.

“He’s worked on his shot. As he’s gotten older, he has watched the guys who came before him: the late Kobe Bryant and others — how they have adjusted their game. I think he’s talked a lot to LeBron James,” Harlan said during his appearance on the Takeoff Podcast with John Clark.
“(LeBron) and Michael, I think he has really watched and studied how the great ones can do anything in their 20s and slacked off when they hit 30 and then in their mid-30s, have to adjust their game. I think he has really followed that path well,” he added.

Paul George, 34, recently switched teams from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Philadelphia 76ers, as he continues to search for that elusive NBA title.
Paul George is not expected to be the man for the Philadelphia 76ers
FOX analyst Skip Bayless isn’t buying into the notion of Paul George being the Philadelphia 76ers’ missing piece since he believes the Fresno State product is not an alpha dog.

“He’s just not that guy. He’s not a superstar. He’s just a star, and he’s a really good star. But he’s just a second star. He’s a complimentary star. He’s not that anymore on defense. What he is is just ‘PG,’ which is pretty good,” Bayless said on The Skip Bayless Show.
However, the good news for Philly is that Paul George doesn’t need to be one since he will likely assume Tobias Harris’ role as the third option behind Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
