The Phoenix Suns have gotten some much-needed momentum from a thrilling 119-117 win at home over James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers last Tuesday. Phoenix seemed it needed such a win not just to boost their chances of making it past the regular season but also for their morale.
The Suns will look to sustain their form this Friday night when they face off against the Denver Nuggets in Mile High City to begin a four-game win streak.
However, they might not be one of their most expensive assets, with three-time All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal labeled questionable for the contest because of a calf issue.

Suns list Bradley Beal (left calf injury management) as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Nuggets. Cody Martin (sports hernia), Monte Morris (low back injury management) and Jalen Bridges (two-way) are all out.

Bradley Beal’s health among Phoenix Suns issues

Beal has already missed a bunch of games this season. If he ends up sitting out the Denver game, that would be his 20th outing not in uniform. Beal already did not look fine in the meeting with the Clippers, where he missed all of his four attempts from the floor and finished with zero points in only 15 minutes.
Beal is earning over $50.2 million in the 2024-25 season, and he’s about to pocket $53.66 more in the 2025-26 campaign. T
he Suns were rumored to have tried calling every team before this year’s NBA trade deadline to move Beal, but given his contract that also had a player option worth $57.12 million for the 2026-27 season, it’s not a surprise that Phoenix’s effort to deal him somewhere else did not come into fruition.
