Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is looking to make a return to the lineup before the 2024-25 NBA season ends. Beal has missed the last eight games for the Suns due to a left hamstring strain. Since being sidelined, the Suns have tried their best to make things work to qualify for the Play-In Tournament. However, the recent ankle injury of Kevin Durant made things work.
According to NBA insider Duane Rankin, the Suns are currently on a three-game road trip, which started on Tuesday in a 133-123 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. Their next game will be against the Boston Celtics on Friday. On Sunday, the road trip will end against the New York Knicks. Rankin reported that Beal is eyeing a return during that span.

Due to injuries, Beal has been limited to 48 games, averaging 17.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists on 50.5% shooting from the field. The last time the three-time All-Star guard played was on March 16 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Bradley Beal hopes to return from his left hamstring strain during Suns three-game road trip that continues Friday at defending NBA champion Boston and ends Sunday at New York.

The Suns have a 35-41 record and are a few games away from the 10th spot, their only chance to be in the postseason.
Beal understands the Phoenix Suns fans who are upset at his missed games

Beal has missed almost half of the season because of injuries. Because of this, most fans are upset that he’s almost not always on the floor with Devin Booker and Durant. Through all this, the former Washington Wizards star understands why the fans feel differently about him missing games.
“I get it, I get it,” Beal said. “They have every reason to be. I am, too.”
After the team’s loss against the Bucks, Beal gave an update on his status.
“Feel good, better, a lot better,” he said. “I’m progressing well. Doing everything necessary treatment wise. No setbacks.
“Just getting the sprinting in and supportive of teammates, the last piece where I feel super comfortable and feel like I can explode and attack the way I know I can.”

Beal has always been prone to injuries. But in his second season in Phoenix, he has played one of the fewest games of his career. The last time he was limited to at least 40 games was during the 2021-22 season.
“It’s not ideal, obviously, it’s not fun,” Beal said. “You don’t enjoy it. You control what you can control. That’s all I can do. I always preach about being available and that’s something I’m definitely kicking myself about, but that’s sometimes how the cookie crumbles. All I can do is keep my head up and keep getting better. The staff has been great, my body is in a better place and I feel really good right now. Hopefully it continues to stay that way.”
