Devin Booker opened his home to Architectural Digest, including his impressive lineup of luxury cars. See inside his garage in the video above.
When Phoenix Suns star player Devin Booker isn’t scoring 50 points a game, guiding his team to the NBA finals, or dating some of the hottest celebrities, he indulges his passion for luxury cars. Over the past few years, he has added some exclusive and expensive models to his massive collection. Booker’s collection boasts a mix of cars and SUVs. His garage features some real American beauties. Besides the tricked-out 1959 Chevy Caprice he drove to the 2021 NBA finals, his love for Chevrolet classics is clear.
“I’m a classic car collector. I think it’s a family tradition for me that I took on and honed in on,” Booker said.
Here are a few of the cars in the collection that stand out for me:
Booker’s Buick Grand National
Everyone needs a daily commuter vehicle, and Booker’s go-to commuter is his 1987 Buick Grand National all decked out in black. He has another Grand National, a GNX version, that he doesn’t drive as much (pictured above). Only 547 of the GNX models have been made and Booker was sure to get his hands on one. This car was also featured in the hit movie, Fast and Furious, serving as Dominic Toretto’s car, the character Vin Diesel played.
Booker’s prized possession he named “Pretty Penny”
“People always ask me what’s my favorite. It’s like picking your favorite child, you just don’t do that.”
Although Booker doesn’t have a favorite classic car, he will say his most beloved and iconic is his 1959 Chevrolet Impala he calls “Pretty Penny“. Pretty Penny’s beautifully restored light brown color and gold spoked wheels give it that perfect vintage look.
Pretty Penny is an original ragtop, the first ever car he added to his massive collection. Pretty Penny was the reason he started collecting high-end vehicles to begin with.
Booker’s slim Chevrolet K5 Blazer named “Uncle Larry”
This first-generation, All-American, one-of-a-kind SUV coined “Uncle Larry” has a very slim look, with lowered suspension and an eye-catching sky blue color that gives it a nice fresh look. Combined with power and utility, it suits Booker’s style perfectly. Uncle Larry debuted in 1969 as an off-road SUV and is a staple in Booker’s collection. Some reports value this car at $15,000-$75,000.
Devin Booker’s gorgeous black Ferrari 488 Spider
This stunning 488 Ferrari Spider is the most expensive vehicle in Booker’s garage, valued at over $300,000. Featuring a 3.9L V8 twin-turbocharged engine that can go 0-60 MPH in 3 seconds. This car has both great looks and even better performance.
After looking at Booker’s collection, it’s clear that he will add more cars in the near future, saying he wants a whole warehouse full of high-end cars. We will see soon if that is true in the near future. There’s no doubt Booker has style and a true knack for finding and restoring classic cars. This massive collection valued at close to $600,000 also shows the off-court personality that people might not always see.
