Phoenix Suns superstar forward Kevin Durant is always all about business — on and off the court. After winning gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics with Team USA, it was reported that Durant has made what must be a lucrative investment in French football club Paris Saint-Germain.
Via Boardroom:
BREAKING: 2x NBA Champion Kevin Durant has invested in Paris Saint-Germain through his Boardroom Sports Holdings, LLC via Arctos Partners, the strategic minority investor in the club.
Apparently, Durant was already in the middle of doing business shortly after landing in Paris with Team USA. It was also noted by Boardroom that the former Texas Longhorns star made a visit to the PSG campus earlier this month.
Fans have a lot of reactions to the latest business move by the former NBA Most Valuable Player and now four-time Olympic gold medalist.
“KD low-key has made some amazing investments….”
“KD IS THE BUSINESS MAN”
“NBA players always making moves off the court, LeBron was the first and now KD making waves”
“So kd owns Paris literally😂”
“This how u supposed to act when u filthy rich, single, got no kids and at the top of the chain in yo chosen profession. EASY.MONEY.SNIPER.”
“Gold medal wasn’t enough, man is leaving Paris with part of their club too”
Of course, there will always be people questioning a move made by a celebrity like Durant.
“Guy should have invested in a basketball team. Does he know the dynamics of football really?”
