Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen got the ultimate validation, as he was named one of the top shooters in the upcoming NBA 2K25 video game.

The NBA 2K’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account had the former Duke Blue Devils star as the second-best shooter of the game with a 93 three-point rating, only six notches below Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry (99).

Right below Grayson Allen are Kevin Durant (92), Klay Thompson (89), and Mike Conley (89), which is mind-blowing to most basketball fans.

To his credit, Grayson Allen has gradually improved in his six years in the NBA. In his first year with the Phoenix Suns in 2023-24, the 28-year-old averaged 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while shooting 49.9 percent from the field and a league-high 46.1 percent from three-point range in 75 regular season games.

Allen had three games where he caught fire from deep, making nine three-pointers against the Philadelphia 76ers, Sacramento Kings, and the Miami Heat. The only other guy to have more games with at least nine made three-pointers than Allen in 2023-24 was Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

Besides owning the highest three-point percentage in 2023-24, Grayson Allen also won the Dan Majerle Hustle Award.

Having Grayson Allen is valuable for Phoenix because he is one of the team’s few consistent players that provide elite long-range shooting to open up the floor for All-Stars Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker.

The good news for Phoenix Suns fans is that Grayson Allen will stay with the team for the foreseeable future after agreeing to a four-year, $70 million extension, including a $19.375 player option in 2027-28, this summer.
