After making a lot of noise last summer by forming a new Big 3, the Phoenix Suns ended up settling for a first-round exit in the playoffs. The worst part of it all was that they were utterly embarrassed by Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves via a 4-0 sweep in the opening round.
Kevin Durant admits that his team had its shortcomings last term. At the same time, however, KD remains confident that they have what it takes to bounce back and win it all this year.
Phoenix Suns News: Kevin Durant Remains Unfazed

In a recent interview, Durant admitted that his trio in Phoenix along with Devin Booker and Bradley Beal fell way short of their expectations last season:
“I like our team. We got me, Brad, and Book who can go off and do a lot of different things on the basketball court,” he said. “It starts with us. I love who we are but I felt like we gave a lot of games away last year. … I like where we are.”

Durant also acknowledged the fact that teams from around the league have improved significantly this offseason and that the Suns are likely to face an even tougher road in 2024-25. Be that as it may, the former NBA Most Valuable Player remains unfazed and has an unwavering confidence in his team.
KD knows that it won’t be easy, but he has no doubt that Phoenix is capable of going all the way this coming season.
