Portland Trail Blazers swingman Shaedon Sharpe played a huge role in the team’s 129-121 win against the Washington Wizards at the Capital One Arena, stretching their unbeaten run to three consecutive matches.

At 26-33, the Portland Trail Blazers are just four games back of the Sacramento Kings for 10th place (last play-in spot) in the Western Conference. They will look to make it four wins in a row when they visit the Brooklyn Nets this Friday at Barclays Center.
Sharpe came off the bench and dropped 36 points, eight rebounds, and five assists on 13-for-26 shooting from the field and 7-for-10 from the charity stripe in 33 minutes.

This is the first 35-point game off the bench by a Portland Trail Blazers player since Travis Outlaw in 2007, per StatMuse.
Portland Trail Blazers’ Chauncey Billups and Deni Avdija react to Shaedon Sharpe’s big night
Shaedon Sharpe went viral on social media for his vicious poster dunk on Justin Champagnie after a steal, which capped off his scoring outburst.

“His offense was incredible,” Billups said via The Associated Press. “I mean it really was. On all three levels he was incredible the entire time. I thought the defense was high-level as well. I really did. And his rebounding, he got some really, really big rebounds for us.”
“I don’t know where he got it from,” Avdija added. “I asked him on the bench, ‘If I’m going to work as hard as I can, will I be able to jump like you?’ I don’t know, it’s just genes.”
