Portland Trail Blazers forward Toumani Camara was named the Western Conference Defensive Player of the Month for February 2025.

Camara is a huge reason the Portland Trail Blazers are in the play-in mix as the 12th seed with a 28-34 record. He was the only player in the league to compile more than 80 rebounds, 20 steals, and 10 blocked shots last month.
The former no. 52 pick leads the league in charges drawn this season, with four coming from February. His 24 total steals during the month were also tied for the fifth-most in the NBA.

With Camara leading, the Portland Trail Blazers ranked fourth in defensive rating (109.2), third in opponent three-point percentage (.316), and ninth in opponent points per game (111.9) for February.
