Muhl was spotted wearing the Nike G.T. Hustle 3 Player Edition basketball shoes, which were designed by Paige Bueckers in collaboration with Nike. These sneakers made Bueckers the first NIL university athlete to have her own shoe. Muhl laced up in them during an on-court workout as she continues her recovery from an ACL injury.

The Nike G.T. Hustle 3 Paige Bueckers Player Edition marked the first-ever Nike Player Edition sneaker designed for an NIL athlete. This special edition was created to celebrate Paige Bueckers, and features a design inspired by her personal journey and playing style.

The baby blue and lavender colorway reflects Bueckers’ favorite colors, while personalized details pay tribute to her life and career. The shoe includes area codes representing her hometown in Minnesota and UConn, an embroidered bucket icon on the tongue, and a creative play on her surname—replacing “Bueckers” with “Buckets” on the heel.

Additionally, a text bubble on the shoe features an inspirational message from her father: “Be You, Be Great”. The Radial Knit upper provides lightweight containment and breathability, ensuring both style and performance.

Nika Muhl to Continue Recovery, Will Miss Entire 2025 Season

Nika Muhl suffered a torn ACL while playing for Turkish club Besiktas in October 2024, just after completing her rookie season with the Seattle Storm. The injury occurred during her first game overseas, when she landed awkwardly after grabbing a rebound, immediately clutching her knee in pain before being stretchered off the court.

The severity of the injury was confirmed soon after, and she underwent surgery on November 2024 to repair both her ACL and meniscus.

Despite the setback, Muhl has remained determined and resilient throughout her recovery process. She has shared updates on social media, expressing gratitude for the support she has received and emphasizing her commitment to returning stronger.

While she won’t be on the court in 2025, Nika Muhl is expected to resume her contract with Seattle in 2026, where she hopes to make a strong comeback.
