Russell Westbrook, Denver Nuggets point guard’s wife, Nina Westbrook, was another UCLA fan who was truly happy with the team winning against the USC Trojans in the Big Ten championship. Nina Westbrook has close ties with UCLA after she was a student with the university. Currently, she is working as a licensed marriage and family therapist.
The UCLA Bruins finished their regular season no. 2 in the Big Ten with a 16-2 conference score and 30-2 overall. The Bruins played USC in their last game of the season and lost 80-67. After playing in the Big Ten playoffs against the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Ohio State Buckeyes and winning 85-74 and 75-46 respectively, the UCLA Bruins took revenge on the USC Trojans and defeated them in the Big Ten Tournament finale, 72-67.

In the playoffs finale against the USC Trojans, the UCLA Bruins were led on the scoreboard by Lauren Betts who etched 17 points for the team, grabbing five rebounds and assisting thrice. Kiki Rice and Londynn Jones each matched 13 points for the team, while Timea Gardiner and Angela Dugalic scored nine points and eight points respectively for the team.
Russell Westbrook And Nuggets Readying To Play Against Timberwolves
On another note, Russell Westbrook and the rest of the Denver Nuggets are preparing to meet the Minnesota Timberwolves at Ball Arena, to continue the NBA regular season. The Denver Nuggets are currently ranked second in the Western Conference after winning 42 games and losing 23 on the season. The Nuggets are placed just one spot below the ruling Oklahoma City Thunder who have a current 53-12 record.
In their previous matchup, the Denver Nuggets met the Oklahoma City Thunder and won the game with a final score of 140-127. Against OKC, the Nuggets were led on the scoreboard by Nikola Jokic who etched 35 points on the scoreboard, along with a whopping 18 rebounds and eight assists. Jamal Murray grabbed another 34 points for the team with four boards and six helpers.
After taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets will be playing against the Los Angeles Lakers. In their previous meeting with the Timberwolves, the Denver Nuggets lost the game, 133-104. Back then, Jamal Murray led the team’s offense with 25 points, while Jokic contributed 20 more points for the team. The Denver Nuggets will try and build a winning streak after defeating the OKC in the last game.
